    feeding ?

Went to the reptile expo over the weekend to pick up a new ball and my older son was gonna pick one up also. This is my 3rd ball and the were 5 or 6 months old when i got them so they were eating mice and are now on f\t small rats.My son came over to me with a ball he had just picked up ( i told him wait 4 me before you buy) anyway this ball is on the small size and has only had 4 meals and was eating live mice hoppers.I can only find frozen at this time so it possible 4 this little guy to eat a live mouse ..Thanks

    Re: feeding ?

ITs always best to feed them the right size meal. However I have had the same issue in the past. How long is the snake? Mine is roughly 16-18 inches and he has had small mice with no problem at all. But when i say small mice.... its a step up or two from a hopper... still not full grown by any means.

Do you have any smaller petshops in the area that might have some breeding mice? I had the same problem as what you're facing with some Chondros and was lucky enough to find a store in Vernon that almost always has pinkies through adults for mice. Bit of a drive for you though.
