Re: Show pick ups! (Atlanta Repticon)
Trey had some very nice snakes. My mom held that tarantula, I couldn't believe it. All I remember is that he said it was Peruvian. I found what I wanted at the show the very last minute and then the wife picked up an extra while we were walking out to leave.

Nice pick-ups!
The tarantula looks Theraphosa spp. or Pamphobeteus spp. is only a guess.

Re: Show pick ups! (Atlanta Repticon)
Thank you all for all the nice comments!
Regarding the tarantula, I am pretty amused at all the "OMG EW SPIDERS HOW COULD YOU?!" responses! If you swap out the word "spider/tarantula" with the word "snake", you see how many people feel about us herp hobbyists. No offence is meant to anyone, though, I am just commenting. I, myself, used to be petrified of spiders until I got the nerve to hold one!
I actually ended up with a Rose Hair Tarantula spiderling after I purchased some Ocala Scrub Millipedes..

Re: Show pick ups! (Atlanta Repticon)
i had ocala scrubs. make sure you provide some oak leaves for them. they were extremly selective in what they ate. they mostly stuck to the leaves and cucumbers.

Re: Show pick ups! (Atlanta Repticon)
Thanks for the tip! Luckily there are a lot of oak trees around here, I will have to go gather some leaves and get some cucumbers.
