    breeding chances

i have a normal female that should be ready next year, i have a pastel that is ready now. with just those two put together what would be my chance of them locking up and actually producing eggs??
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

If they're both of size, healthy and their requirements are met, the chance of two ball pythons pairing up and you getting eggs is about 50-60%.

You should wait until next year! You can try though! If she is not ready, she will not breed! I would wait until she is 1500 grams because then you will get a bigger clutch!
