Shipping BP with UPS or FEDEX

I am moving shortly and intended on using UPS through shipyourreptiles.com to ship my ball python. I just recently found out that UPS is not letting them ship snakes anymore and was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to go about getting my bp to another state. I should have done additional research ahead of time but its seemed so simple before that I wasn't too worried about the shipping process.

    Depending on how shortly....

    Get FedEx certified

Have someone in your area who is ship them out for you

Take them on the road with you

DO NOT USE UPS/SYR, USPS, or ANY other service not allowing shipment of reptiles

There IS a new service now called Reptile Express, but its just getting off the ground and they dont have a lot of customers yet

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately the moving truck already came and took most of my stuff a week ago. It's looking like I will have to get certified through fedex, it's just a pain to have to do everything considering this will be the only time I EVER ship a reptile.

    Stinker....

Getting Fedex certified is going to take a couple months.

A well known name in the industry is one of the co-owners of the new Reptile Express service, much similar to the SYR service.

    MIGHT give it a shot
