RABBIT (possibly)

Do you live near farms or anything of the sort? You could buy a bale of hay off of them and feed him/her off of that.

Glad to see someone actually think buying a rabbit through before actually buying it, you're doing yourself and rabbtis a favour!

Well, my step sister's husband does own a farm

But unfortunatly I think im not going to buy the rabbit. The closest vet is 2 hours away


I also dont have a car, Im 17 so Id have to get my parents to drive me. And they work 7 days a week 9 hour days, so thats not an option

I want a rabbit.. but unfortunatly Its not possible to get one right now

As long as you give it plenty of attention it can be housed alone just fine.

They need attention and times out of their cage to exercise their legs.

If house alone the advantage is that they will bond to you if house with another bunny they will tend to bond to the other bunny instead.

They make great pets they are very intelligent and can easily be trained.

Make sure that the room in which your bunny will have some time out of his cage is bunny proof since they have a tendency to chew.

The younger you will get your bunny the better if you can get a 4 weeks old rabbit that was just weaned off it will bond to you in no time and be like any other family pet.

Sure, but it's kind of entertaining at the same time. When my parents argued, all 6 of my rabbits would stop what they were doing ASAP, turn their ears forward and listen. The moment it stopped, they'd go right back to whatever it was before. Also had a rabbit completely lose it walking over gravel for the first time... he was pretty "special".

Now I want my bunny at my new place!
