    1.0, 09 mojave

    Hi...
My mojave shed the other day and came out looking MUCH different. She has almost no yellow coloration left at all. Any thoughts? The pics are just from a cell phone. Thanks for looking....

Is the middle how she is now? Because if it is, I am very jealous. Very very jealous indeed. Looks axanthic. I guess it technically is, but I'll be damned to come up with an explanation for you. Could she just be coming into her colour? Was this really as sudden as one shed from normal mojave to this? I'm just real curious.

I agree. When I saw the second picture, I thought axanthic.

    Re: 1.0, 09 mojave

He was a very nice mojave all along but normal mojave. This particular shed took a little longer than normal...

When I went to do maintenance on his tub... there he was GORGEOUS!!!!
All three are taken the same day. The middle pic is outside and very true to color...

I spoke to the breeder and he said there is no known ghost genetics but certainly does look axanthic. Now... to find a nice female to hook him up with next season. Thanks again for the nice comments.

Either way, it's an absolutely beautiful snake! Maybe hook him up with a Desert Ghost?

That's definitely one of the most gorgeous variations of a morph I've seen. Lucky.

    Re: 1.0, 09 mojave

my mojo did a very similar thing, but not over 1 shed. She had alot of yellow, and almost no blushing, and as each shed goes by, the yellow goes away scale by scale, and the blushing is creeping its way up her sides. She is starting to look like that, but wow, i cant wait to see if she ends up THAT gorgeous!!

Good luck, and find him a nice girl!
