    Smile Hello

I would like to say a few things here as I introduce myself. I have looked over your site and it seems to be friendly. I was once very high up in another forum. after awhile things kind of turned on me. the "real owner of this forum was no longer with us and let`s say thew natives turned on me for some reason. I have been leary of signing on to another forum because of that. So, I came across your site and I like the rules. Here I am. I come from Worcester Massachusetts and have 3 Pythons and 2 Boas, all ranging from very large to very small.
I would like to start by reading a little more in the forum. I will begin in the "introduce yourself" section. Maybe I will get to know some of you that way. From what I have read so far, I like. Everyone seems to be nice and very serious about their passion and that is the type of group I am looking for. So thank you for letting me in your forum and I think I will like it here. I am hoping to make some new freinds here and to share information and eventualy get to show of my beloved snakes and my new iguana.

    Re: Hello

Hello. This is an awesome site, with tons of helpful people. They are all great. There is the occasional hair pulling and eye gouging, but most of the time it gets stomped in the dirt.

    Can't wait for some pics.

    Re: Hello

I was wondering if this is a forum for JUST ball pythons, or are we also discussing other types of snakes and reptiles? Lets start out with my ball python, "Rid****" I was told he is a mojave, but he looks dark in this picture. It realy doesn`t do him justice.

We have sections for quite a few snake species and lizards.

I'm afraid rid**** isn't a mojave but he looks nice all the same.

    Re: Hello

Thank you for the welcomes. Yes, I did figure out he wasn`t a Mojave. I think to the person I got him from saw that he had a lighter colored face than any regular ball, that he asumed he was a Mojave. He is a ham, though. As you can see, he loves to pose for pictures. I have many more photos of all 5 constrictors that I keep and I am somewhat of a shutterbug. I LOVE to show them off. It will take a little time to get used to the way this forum is layed out, so Admin, Please bear with me. I will get used to this before I write many more posts. Thank you.

    Well we love pictures!

Just an FYI, Rid**** there looks to have a little stuck shed on his back that you might want to soak off. It should be coming off in one piece or a few large pieces.

Rid**** was a rescue from a person that heavily neglected him. He was infested with mites and had been burnt with a heat rock!!! So, what you are seeing, unfortunately, are scars from that. I am hoping through the years that he will eventually shed them off, and the scars will not be so noticable... He is a ham and loves to pose for pictures!! What a sweetie!!! I absolutely adore him. I have lots of good pictures of him. I just got a new computer because my other one crashed. Therefore I need to transfer my back ups to this on and also take some new ones off my phone and camera. In the next few days, I will have everything up to par. Good eye, though. and thank you for noticing.
