Waiting for my Boaphile :(
So, I ordered a Boaphile rack 5 1/2 weeks ago. I know -- I have read on the forum here that they take forever to get, but I went with Boaphile because I like that they have a 6 high rack, and I live close by, so I may have gotten a break on pricing since I offered to pick it up myself.
What is the longest that someone has had to wait for a Boaphile? From what I understand my wait is about average. However, I am getting a little irritated because I was told 3-4 weeks, and like I said, it has now been 5 1/2.
I am in sales myself, and I was trained to under promise and over deliver -- not the opposite!
I called him at the 4 week mark, and again 2 days ago. It doesn't seem like he really cares that he has missed his completion estimate by quite a bit.
Has anyone had any issues of never getting a rack that was ordered? I'm wondering if I should ask for a refund, or just keep waiting... Has anyone asked for a refund and been denied?
Thanks!
George

Re: Waiting for my Boaphile :(
Boaphile does have a reputation for taking FOREVER. Ive heard of people waiting 6-8 weeks. Id give it some more time. From what I've heard he is really a great guy and i doubt you'll have any problems. I personally only buy from repti-racks, but boaphile is a pretty major name in this hobby.

Re: Waiting for my Boaphile :(
I had no problem getting my 5 cage stack pack from them last year. I also added a third hinge and locks to the cages.
Hope you are happy in the end.
It is right in the middle of baby boa season, but, no excuses. If you are gonna do it, do it!

Deffinetly. Your paying with your money, and when you get an estimate of 3-4 weeks and its going on week six, i would start to get a little testy. A business is a business and in my opinion there are no excuses. This is one of the reasons I decided not to go with boaphile. But, too each is their own and if someone loves their products, then thats fine by me.

Sorry to say, you better get ready to wait...From all the threads and from acquaintance experiences...They take longer than the expected time frames...

Wow, Im surprised to hear that. I have a 5 stack of the 4ft x 2ft with double doors, double heat, double ranco and dividers. Mine got here in 4 1/2 weeks and Jeff was very nice the couple times I called him. Im sure you will get it soon. Being warmer I bet their business picked up alot since I got mine a few months ago.
