    Antivenom Shortage

    Just saw this interesting article. Apparently, antivenom for coral snake bites will no longer be available in a few months, if a new manufacturer is not found. The article states this is not an unusual problem, since antivenoms do not tend to be profitable products to produce.

    I would take that article with a grain of salt. I'm not sure I'd believe it. Maybe post this in the Venomous forum, these folks would be speak as more of an authority than Popular Mechanics.

    I'll agree that PAopular Mechanics is an odd place for this to have shown up, but it seems to be legit.
