Re: mites
Petco does not carry it. Try www.bigappleherp.com or www.reptiledirect.com either of those should carry it. You may also be able to find it at a local reptile show as well.

Re: mites
I know most people dont like the pest strip method but that what I use. I cut little pieces and put them in little containers with holes in them. Place one in your totes and a bigger piece in the room. Leave in there for 36-48 hours....take it out and repeat in 8-10 days....Done
Has worked very well for me in the past. Disinfect everything in your cages and replace all bedding. I would suggest newspaper as the substrate. Less placese for the mites to hide and lay eggs. Reptile mites are very smart little critters. LOL Good luck

Re: mites
I got mites not to long after I got my baby. This is what I did while I waited for my PAM to come.
I took out all her substance, then vacuumed out her enclosure. I then rinsed it out with water, and let that soak for a bit. After the enclosure was completely dry I replaced it with newspaper just so I could see any more mites crawling around. When I had to throw away the soiled newspaper, I put it into a plastic bag, double tied it tight, and brought it directly outside. I would suggest doing a water/bleach solution to disinfect the inside of her enclosure. It was suggested to me, and even though I didn't do it (because I didn't have time), I will suggest it to others.
PAM works very well, and I love the stuff! I now spray all new things that go into her enclosure (expect water dishes). Hope this helped.
