    Was my wifes idea

She told me no more reptiles but then she goes and gets a beardie! She knew I wanted one for a while though. I'll post some pics tonight. He/She is just a little one.

We got it in a 20 gal. long. Tile for substrate, bendy vine that goes up for a basking spot close to the lamp and a big wood hideaway for a basking spot. Currently no room in our "reptile" room for it, it's staying in our bedroom temporarily.

    She named him/her Toothless.

Toothless huh? I think I scared my beardie once and he bit me and drew blood. But congrats on the new addition. Bearded dragons are great animals.

HA! I don't doubt it at all considering my leopard geckos can draw blood. Name came from the move How to train your Dragon, which we both liked.

Ahhhh OK, I have not seen the move yet but I am sure it is a great name based off that.

Oh he is a little guy. Hard to believe mine was even smaller then that when I got him. But your dragon sure has a good appetite.

    Re: Was my wifes idea

He didn't want to eat this morning. I even let his cage warm up before offering him crickets. I read somewhere that you should let them warm up before the first feeding...not sure if that's true, but I had the time to do it.

He ate all three times yesterday though, and one feeding on Sunday when we got him home. I ended up not getting anymore pictures last night, but I did get a vid of my ball eating.
