Suprise in the crawfish

My Husband bought a 35# bag of live crawfish from our local grocery store the other day. He put them in a cooler full of water and poured salt to purge. As soon as the kids found out there were live "pets" in the back yard, they were hanging over the cooler. My son (10) says "Mommy, there's a turtle in here". Sure enough he was scrambling around in a panic with all the crawfish and they were alot bigger than him. Hes tiny. Already set up a tank with water and a basking station. Went to Petsmart and bought food (floating) and water conditioner...but beyond that I have no clue about turtles.

My Son says "Ohana" No one gets left behind, to the turtle. Named him Coopa.

Yes he does love Lilo and Stitch. And it was such good luck seeing that turtle.....he almost got boiled

No filter running yet....Im going to work on it this weekend....I have been changing the water everyday to keep it fresh. Im thinking about putting it in the fish tank...I have one fish left and it is small...I bought a floating dock for the fish tank.
