    41 Qt. Capabilities

Just got my Animal Plastics Sterilite 1960 3 tub rack, and have my entire collection in it...1 Ball...

So the question is, what snakes can be kept in a 41 qt. tub, with similar temps and humidity required for a BP? I love Red Tail Boas, and have never seen one in person, but super interested in Bloods, but just don't know if either could be properly kept in a 41 qt. tub? If weight would be an issue, I would just keep it on the bottom rack where there is tons of support.

Just wanted ya'lls opinions. I love my BP, but would also love to bring some other snakes into the collection if the setup allows it. Thanks guys and gals

    Re: 41 Qt. Capabilities

Some BCI boas may never out grow 41qt tubs but dont always count on it.

Super Dwarf Reticulated pythons will never out grow a 41 qt tub with a max of 4-6ft.

Most colubrids will never outgrow the 41 qt as well, but blood on other hand may use it for a while but will eventually get too fat for the 41qt.

Any way to know if one will stay smaller? Just buy it older?

If you buy an adult that is smaller, then you might be okay but some as adults are fed less to maintain smaller statures. Its all up to what your looking for and experience.

If I were you I'd get a pair of honduran milk snakes, or albino Cali kings. The amazing colors are just fantastic. =D

Love the colors, but prefer snakes with more girth

What else would be suitable? Thanks guys, it's so nice to have room for expansion, I just want to go to the next show with a knowledge base of what I can bring home!

    Re: 41 Qt. Capabilities

Some of the Antaresia species aren't bad. Children's and Spotted pythons are under $100.

Ringed pythons should also fit in a 41 qt.
