cage sizing for the snakes

would the dimensions of 16"w x 33"l x 48"h be ok for an arboreal snake? and which would you recommend for that size enclosure - ETB -GTP?

Thats perfect as long as you have a perch for them to rest on, GTP dont usually need anything huge, they spend most of there times in the wild perched in trees. Hope this helps =D

For an adult, I would not recommend anything smaller then a 24" cube. Males will roam the cage at night.

it has been shown that having a tall cage is not beneficial in any way for arboreal species. the cage size recommended above (36x24x24) would be best for an adult.

I think past sizing requirements you need to look at a cage durable enough to last with humidity. A glass cage is primitive and not great for housing these animals. If you are looking for a yearling ETB or an adult male chondro the 24x + is the way to go. ETBs are bigger than chondros and will need more than 24x by the time they are fully grown. If you are getting a neonate then a huge cage will make if difficult to drink and be comfortable. A female of either species is going to require more than 24x.
