Jaguar Morph?
I have seen a couple of these and I am very impressed with this snake. But things I have seen about it is that the morph is not genetic? Also can it be mixed with a different morph, say a pastel or spider and mix?

Re: Jaguar Morph?
Not sure I'm familiar with the "Jaguar" can you post pic's of it for me..

If you're wanting to look into something genetic you will want to look into the Leopard Morph:

Pastel Leopard @ T. Harbin's:

The Leopard is linked to the Piebald gene, that may be similar to what Brian Gundy has though I do not believe his specimen looks quite as nice as Tom's and Justin's.

Re: Jaguar Morph?
My understanding is one trait of the jaguar is the clover pattern on top of the head. Justin's leapord does not have that head pattern. Look at the pattern on the head of my old snake, then go to Ralph Davis' site and look at his jaguars, they have the same clover head pattern. Ralph has not done much with this "morph" but probaly knows more about them than others.

Re: Jaguar Morph?
Thanks. Yea I like the look of the snake and was just curious about it because no one talks about it or anything.
Fat boy did you ever breed any of the jags with another morph?

Well just got an email back from Ralph and he said this:
"I'm still working on it......but I do not believe it to be genetic."
Debra from Camlon Reptiles sent me an email saying she hasn't matched her pair she is selling but has heard that people who breed to a normals sometimes get a similar pattern but not all the time. And has heard that people who breed jags together have gotten jag babies.
