I'm not giving up on frozen. But if he never will take it will it be possible to keep him on adult mice and just feed more often. I would be worried about going to rats since they are mean buggers when they defend themselves and are very likely to bite him up.

If so how often should I feed mice when he's a big guy?

Ya putting more that one mouse in a a time, not a good idea. I just fed my bp and im trying to get her to eat two mice every other week and she ate the first one no prob and then I put the second one in and it like freakin attacked her. So now the mouse is back in his box and poor Sophie got pwned by a mouse.

I would actually venture to say that mice are meaner then rats. There should be no risk of injury to your animal as long as you supervise feedings and don't leave a live rodent in there unattended. That is when the accidents happen.

If you still want to stick with mice then you will end up feeding multiple mice per feeding about once a week. If you do end up feeding multiple mice in one sitting, don't throw them all in at once. Wait for the snake to eat the first one and realign its jaws and then offer the second.
