I knew it would happen

So my girlfriend has never been "into" reptiles. She's very wary of larger snakes, but thinks my geckos are cute.

Imagine my surprise when she became obsessed with chameleons in the past few months, particularly panthers.

She finally came to the dark side and got herself her first reptile, a beautiful juvenile male ambilobe panther chameleon from NARBC last weekend.



He doesn't like me very much


He's one of the most interesting reptiles I've ever worked with, words really can't describe how unique these critters seem to be in the reptile world, in both looks and behavior.

Typical setup, juvenile sized 18''x18''x3' screen cage, plenty of climbing, basking light, 5.0 fluoro UVB bulb, homemade drip system. We're going to add a live potted plant soon enough as well.
