Hi i need help with a pet issue?

Hi I've found a puppy on the internet that I want to buy. The owner has e-mailed me saying they're bringing the puppy today to the delivery service for me to recieve it tomorrow. But apparently the delivery service will call me sometime today for the payment before they can deliver. What should I do before I make a payment to ensure this isn't a scam? Thanks!

"Delivery service"? A ground shipper? Ground shippers are either COD or paid for in advance by the shipper, provided its legit. I wouldn't use one unless you are established in your breed and have a reputation, and the shipper comes with a good rep too

You also don't really give any details about the situation. Do you have a phone number on the breeder? Who, what, where, when, etc?

its a camaroon scam... lol how do you not know this by now? anyways. youre gonna pay the shipping (which goes into their pocket) and never recieve an animal. the whole point behind it is to swindle you out of the money for "shipping" and to steal your credit card information. not for the animal itself. dont do that. like the one previous person said. a shipping service will either have to be paid by the person shipping or cod after its over on your end... there is no carrier that calls you to get the shipping fee...

I have bought dogs from across the country before and they are shipped by air, then you have to pick them up. I have never heard of one comming to your door for delivery.

scam! seen it done a bunch of different ways where people pay for the shipping and never reciece their animal, it always turns out the same, dont even waste your time.
