    feeding issues

i have a 3 year old ball python and he hasnt eaten in about 2 months at first we thought maybe since we are from Pa and our house is a little cold that maybe he has slowed down, or that he needed to shed but he finished shedding about 2 weeks ago and still hasnt eaten. Since this is my first and only snake i am starting to get worried since it has been so long and i was wondering if anyone has any tips to help me out.
ps we feed frozen and we tried stabbing the mouse and it is fully thawed when we try to feed we keep his temp at about 86 on hot end and humidity about 45

raise his hot end a little higher 88-92. He is prob just in breeding mode right now due to the winter cold. This is the time of year they breed and males\females will sometimes go off feed. If hes not loosing weight like crazy dont stress it. Try and offer him food once a week if he doesnt take it dont force it.

its very common for them to go off food for a few months manily this time of year. He prob just wants to find a partner to snuggle with hahah. Going off food is just one of those things you have to deal with when owning a ball python. I have 21 of them and a few are very picky eaters. Most pound food weekly and then some will take every other week and some will do food strikes up to a month or so till they get real hungry and then will crush meals weekly. Long as the conditions are right and hes not stressed he will be fine and go back on food. i have a 100 percent het pied girl that would not eat till about a week ago. Now shes taking food like shes never eaten.
