Image Metrics -> Amazing New Form of CGI

YouTube - Meet Emily - Image Metrics Tech Demo (HQ)
This form(?) of CGI is being used in a new upcoming movie I posted about awhile ago on here, James Cameron's Avatar. Its absolutely incredible what they are capable of doing now, I'm definitely looking forward to the movies of the future.

When I was in college for Game Design, they would always say that the CG/Game world will be improving by 300% every 2 years.

The only thing that holds us (game designers) back...is hardware.

I remember a college advisor telling me about that. Its fascinating how quicky CG is improving.

When I was doing research on CG I realized that there wasn't much about new hardware improvements, etc. for gaming.
