    Quaratine Room: Full (duw)

Well, we helped out a friend who's downsizing her collection to be a little more manageable during some hard times, and took her four favorite ball pythons. *twisted arm* After 3 and a half hours of driving each way, a night of catching up and getting horrendously drunk, we drove home the next day with our new wards.

This normal is amazing. The pictures are all shadowy, so you can't see it, but as soon as she sheds, I'll put her in the lightbox and capture her colors. Betty has ZERO black on her, she's all shades of brown with a white belly, SO gorgeous!

Also she lacks dots! Totally an awesome girl. She's the mother of my pretty little pastel, Saffron. We also brought home Saffron's half-sister (Her mother is Lyla, who also came home with us, but decided to roll in urates, so she wasn't picture-ready). We're calling her Ferarria, which is a flower in the same genus as Saffron, with yellow blossoms. TOTALLY thought I was way more clever than I should've for that, lol.

And we brought home a little stud of a mojo, LaFleur (blatant Lost reference, we had to give him an outlaw kind of name in the spirit of our late mojave, Maverick). He's been working Betty and Lyla pretty hard. There was bowl wrapping before we picked them up, and Betty might be acting pregnant. it's hard for me to tell, she's cinnabunning and acting gravid, but I don't have a date on her last shed, so I guess we'll see. Lyla ate two large rats by accident last Wednesday, but was bloated like mad on Sunday, complete with tail sucking. So we'll look for a shed and appropriate behavior. Either way, here's LaFleur:

Thanks everyone! Betty the normal is really something else, I can't wait to see if she produces anything little mojaves with LaFleur!
