    Long Worms?

My sister bought long worms (I think that's what she said over the phone, I couldn't hear her too well) because the reptile store had no silk worms, but the long worms are very similar to silk worms. Are the long worms okay to feed to my Beardie?

    Re: Long Worms?

Ive never heard of them, so I wouldn't feed them. She didnt get earthworms did she?

Unless you live in California I wouldnt count on finding silkworms in any petstores.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Yes I have read that, it's on my favorite's bar LOL. It doesn't really say much about any worms from what I have read, so not sure what worms I can and can't feed.

    Re: Long Worms?

On another thread I posted, beardeddragon told me that super worms are really good to feed to Beardies, so I fed my Beardie the super worms tonight and she munched them up like no other and they really seemed to fill her right up.

    Re: Long Worms?

Supers are just fine to feed to beardies... that's all my girl gets as far as insects go. They actually aren't a worm, they're the larval phase of a beetle. Just FYI... geckos like them too lol... I buy these guys in bulk now cuz they're so easy to take care of, and all the lizards luv 'em!
