    Silvery scales

Our het pied Micron has these silvery scales on his neck that I'm not sure of what they are. When I first noticed them I thought I'd wait for his shed to see if they came off with the shed. Nope, they're still there. I think he hid some of his shed because I can't find the piece of the shed where the scales are located on his neck.

Here's a picture. (I'm not downsizing it due to maybe someone will want a closer look)

Has anyone seen anything like this? It doesn't seem to cause him any pain. His temps are fine, humidity is more than perfect. Eats perfectly. I'm not too worried about it, but thought maybe I should get a few opinions.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Hard to be sure from the pic but it looks like an old scar? Probably from a mouse or rat bite.

    Re: Silvery scales

Hm, yeah I could see that. I got him from a breeder that said he was 3 weeks old. Is it possible that it could heal up that fast? I didn't notice anything on his neck at first, but I wasn't trying to inspect him too much. I have some crappy cell phone pictures, I'll try to look at those and see if I could see anything.

    Thanks!

Edit: I looked at the pics and couldn't see anything. Maybe it is a bite that I didn't see... I didn't treat it all though. We weren't holding him for the first week so I don't suppose I would have seen it.

    Silvery scales

Definitely scar tissue from the view here, doesn't look that bad, will minimize
after a few years of sheds.
