    Heat Pads

What temp should I buy for my ball? I had a medium desert UTH
its covered with Aspen but she never seems to go under the hut that its under anymore, always staying to the 'cool' side of the tank under another hut
when I pick her up from that side she feels cool...
    is this okay?
and she never comes out of her hut, just sticks her head out of the hut when she's awake, and then during the day she goes back under
    is this normal?
    thanks guys

    Re: Heat Pads

If you UTH is not regulated by a reptile thermostat, that could be the reason why she doesn't go over there. It might be too hot.

If you are regulating it then your snake is just thermoregulating. That is why you have a hot side and a cool side, so they can choose between the two.
