how was your phone experiences on hr2811
here goes my rundown..
meek's office...they seem to be pretty well versed about the entire bill. while we strayed into the actual facts of the USGS report and i even drew out the question reed's motives as is paper pretty much just twisted what little facts there were and wrote them off for his political view. in all meek's office seemed happy to discuss this and wanted to hear both sides
hasting's and wexler's offices...
they are not real talkative about it. they are pretty much just taking your info and if you support it or not.
lewis' office...this is probally the worst experience i have ever had contacting a rep. i would surely urge all of those in his district to get rid of that piece of trash!
Hirono's office... i never got through to anyone. did anyone else?
Rooney's office... they seemed interested on points of the bill, but they also just wanted to take my info and my position and get off the phone.
for those of you that didnt call please do! call all weekend leaving messages. i would also like to urge everyone to keep calling about this!

Most of the aides I spoke to wanted to get off the phone quickly. Hastings office was the most polite.

Too many asking for my zip code which I interpreted to mean that if I'm not in their district, they could care less.

Meek and Hastings secretary's were both very nice, and seemed as though they actually took down my message. Lewis, Wexler and Hirono's were all trying to get off the phone as soon as possible. And i couldn't get through to Rooney, but his voice mail was full.
Like Hypnotic Exotic said i felt the zip-code thing was just a way for them to blow off anyone who wasn't in their district.

I called everyone. Got through to Hirono, very polite. There was one,
Pedro Pierluisi who was very rude and told me they do not accept anything over the phone, it must be emailed...However when my mother called they did accept her 'speach' over the phone.
