    a fairly specific heating question...

If this is in the wrong section i apologize I wasn't sure where it fit best.

Anywho, does anybody know aprox how high a 60 watt heat wave lamp ceramic heater thingy would bring the ambient temp in a 10 gal tank? The tank is for a burrowing scorpion not a snake so don't worry about that I just need to know if that is a high enough watt.

please reply if you have any idea or even if you can give me a link to someplace/refer me to someone who would. time is kinda of the essence here.

    Thanks
    -Chris

I'd imagine that if it was placed on the screen top that it would make the area just under it in the upper 90s or even slightly more. You could always raise it as need. That would probably be alot for such a small cage.
