Thanks, and very mellow. Being captive bred made a world of difference than a wc animal.

Thanks, ya the size has held me back from getting one or 3 until now. You really have to have the means to take care of a very large animal. Or there's really no point in getting one at all.

I couldn't agree more with you on that last part.

That really is the case with every animal, people need to do their research and not get an animal if they can't take care of it properly.

OMG! I can't believe it! I feel like the quiet kid in school that just made friends with the 'in' crowd - I finally know someone with an Anaconda! Wahoo!

I am both fascinated and terrified by these animals. There isn't much info that I could find on the net about keeping them as pets, although I did read that the green ones are 'meaner' than the yellow ones. I have no idea if thats true.

Congratulations on such a unique and amazing animal!

    Please keep us posted!

Greens are not meaner then yellows. And yellows are not meaner then greens. These sayings are outdated along with retics and rocks. Every snake has a different personality. You could have a ball python that is the spawn of satin. You can have a green anaconda thats an angel! I trust my green anaconda more then any other animal I own.
