My wifes new bp is a pig

So last week my wife got herself a high gold baby, and well the next day after we got him, he ate an adult mouse, and then now this morning 4 days later he is just slurping down the tail of another adult mouse. im really impressed i don't think with how things are going right now we are going to have any eating problems. literally 10 seconds after dangling with tongs a f/t mouse he nailed it, did the same thing the first time i fed him. so he seems to really like his food. now he is 100 g and 17-18in long and the guy we got him from was only feeding him a mouse fuzzy that was 1in long and 1/2in wide every 5 days so maybe he is playing catch up, i don't know, just happy he is eating well . just thought id share my good news with everyone.

Hatchlings are little eating monsters - that's for sure! Don't get "too" used to it - she/he will hit a stage where they won't continue to eat on an every 4/5 day schedule - but they definitely will while they're that size if they're set up properly. Congrats!

I'm jealous too. My little mojo male is a pain the the butt. Well, he's not very little anymore, but he'll just sit in strike position forever before he decides to actually eat it.

He doesn't turn away but last sun actually sat in strike position for an hour staring down his little rat. Every time i tried to reach in and grab the rat, he'd move a little closer. I wasn't in the mood to get bitten, so I just let him take his sweet time. Ugh!

    Congrats!!

Here is two pics of him, like i said he is a high gold, its easy for me to tell cause when i compare him to my normal girl its really noticeable the orangey gold tinge. im also told it will get brighter and standout more as he gets older.
