New tub temp. question

I setup my new tub last night, threw everything (except the snake) in overnight so I could check the temperatures in the morning. right above the flexwatt it got up to ~95.x

on the cool side of the tub the air temp only got up to ~82, and was 79 when I checked this morning.

I only have 1 snake so a rack Isn't something I care to buy, but is there a special way 1 tub should be kept in order to keep more heat in? Better question maybe, is the 79-82 air temp even a problem?

tub setup:
-aspen substrate
-2 hides
-water bowl
-flexwatt on one side
-8 holes on each long side of the tub

Hi,

Are the house temps going to be fairly stable over the winter months?

I wouldn't be worried at 79-82f at all but if it is going to drop below 75 I probably would.

How is the humidity holding up?

Humidity is 56% atm. The house is usually kept warmer in the winter than it is during the summer/fall. The house is only in the mid 60's right now but I keep everything in the same room as my computer and I have a savannah monitor as well so the heat from the computer and monitor's lamp keeps the room about ~75

Temps sound fine to me!
