is it wierd that my female BP hangs out on the fake plant and never goes in her hide. There is no light or anything on so it cant be warm up there.

What types of hides are they?

When did you get the snake? If it is a new snake, it takes them a while to feel comfortable enough to use their hides.

Re: Not going in hides
Might take some time. Make sure the hide is over the hot spot and your temps are good. Then what you can do is the next time you handle, when you put them back point the head in the hole of the hide just to get them used to it.

Re: Not going in hides
My BP never uses his cool side hide. He stays in the warm hide all day then come night time he's out and about and when morning comes it starts all over again.
