    Snake Regurge????

I have never seen my snake regurge but was wondering if he just did, so if any one can tell me what it looks like that would really help. The mouse is all bloody and the snake is totally disinterested, which is strange for him because his last meal was one week ago. I offered him a weinling mouse and he took it from my tongs, after that i closed his tub. He is over two months old and i know the prey wasn't too big... Any advice would be great, thanks.

Does it smell? I've never had a snake regurg, but I've heard that you'll never mistake a regurg if you've smelt the stench after the meal comes up.

here is a tip if ur snake decides to strike coil and then lose interest, just hold on to it with ur tongs and make the dead mouse seem to struggle a bit. thanks for your help i know its late.

Fortunately I haven't had a regurge yet, but I imagine it smells somewhere between puke and roadkill...

    Re: Snake Regurge????

I am a little confused. When was the last time your snake ate?
Did you offer food and then come back and the mouse was still in there? If so, then its probably not a regurg.

A regurg looks like a nasty poo with little legs. Its really gross, you would know.

    Re: Snake Regurge????

if your snake refused or regurged, the last thing you want to do is offer food right away.

if it was a refusal, leave the snake alone for 7 days and offer again. Dont do it again right away because it could stress the snake.

Regurges smell like death, or so ive been told. the smell is unforgettable.
