    timber rattlesnake - 5'
    black rat snake - 6' +
    eastern garter snake - we didn't measure it, but it looked close to 4'. it was HUGE.

    The longest snake that I have seen in the wild has been a 13' 2" burmese python and a bunch of others burms in the 7'-12' range. I have seen a couple of black racers in the 5' range and a coachwhip that looked to be about 7'.

    You know, I'd forgotten about the Burm I saw in the gator's jaws some years ago. That one was probably longer than the indigo I mentioned, but I couldn't really see the length of it as most of it was under the vegetation in the water.

    No...Im going to have to say a TX Rat that was pretty well over 6ft. That or one of the Coachwhips ive come across. Tough to say, really.

    the close to 7ft Cali King that has been in my car since i pulled her out of the middle of the street 10+ years ago she was my first snake and i have maaaany battle scars from her... but now she is as sweet as can be, just getting old and im sure starting to go
