I love halfdawgs rack he built. I just don't want to mess up measurments, I just don't know where to start with building this! I'm housing ball pythons, I have 3 at the moment.
Helppp me??
Head to your local Menard's and look for the shelving section.
They have precut, white melamine coated shelving that works out very nicely. I built one of my racks with:
2 - 3'x6" (footers)
2 - 5'x18" (sides)
9 - 3'x18" (shelves)

Though its nice to use precut wood like that it also cost more to do so. Ive built 3 racks out of 6 Sheets of 4'x8' sheets of melamine only costing me $25 per sheet of melamine.
IF you check my other threads out of the racks i build i have dimensions on them.

How did you make it though? Did you have to screw in each of the shelves into the side? I dont see any marks on the wood where a screw would be... I was thinking about making one out of ply wood exactly like that pretty much except with dado cuts in the sides to hold the shelves...

If you want to build a rack and want something better than melamine head to eplastics.com. They sell sheets of 4X2 of ABS plastic in black or white and for four sheets of the 4X2 they were about 8 dollars a piece and 22 shipping.

Also, flamethrower for one rack what are the exact cuts you got on the 4'by8' melimine, because im bad at measuring cuts, so i wanted to know how to maximize the amont of cuts per a board

In my threads of making the racks i put all the cuts needed to make the racks. the smaller ones only used 1.5 sheets
