Dont claim you have any. Get a petition and go around, hit up ALL the petstores even petco and petsmart. These bans are ridicules and need to be stopped.

Thats ridiculous! Fight it with all your might! My prayers and hopes will be with you.

Thats similair to a law in my town. It falls under a nuisance law that states if you are reported for owning any reptile you can be fined 500$ dollars a day for owning the pet after you have been tried ( basically investigated tpo see if you own the reptile.) luckly no one in my town cares if you own a reptile.

Its b.s. stuff like this that makes me lose faith in our government.

Now why would they need to say a pet store and a vets office can have them if:
a: they are now illegal so pet store shouldn't sell them.
b: they are now illegal so vets shouldn't be treating them (since no one should have them).

    Sounds pretty dumb to me.

You would probably have to provide a Tax I.D.# to prove you are a legitimate business.

More than likely it is not illegal for people outside the city limits to own them so they are allowed to come in to purchase or get veterinary care...
