    Hognose playing dead...

This is uncommon to see in CB hogs... especially older ones. This is my 18 month old female... Something spooked her!!! WHAT A STINK!! OMG... one of the worst smells from a snake!!!

My baby male Western Hog doesn't play dead at all. He is only 6 inches long, and I heard babies play dead often, but he just doesn't do it! Lol I love it when Hogs play dead, love those pics!

It's always a treat to see a snake use a crazy defense like that... but man, that stink... I am 5'10" and that container was on the ground.... I smelt it like someone was holding her at my nose... UGH...lol

Lol! I've smelled and been musked on multiple times by my Kingsnake I used to have, a few times from my other Kingsnake, and quite a few times from a Milksnake I used to own. Musk doesn't really bother me, and the smell doesn't bother me anymore, but I gotta say that it does smell. I've smelt musk from being musked on so many times that it just doesn't even bother me anymore lol!

i hear with the hognose its a bit more extreme. as in they smell like they've been dead and sitting in the hot sun for a week.
