What kind of cage furniture is in your enclosure?

I have a boa that's getting pretty big, about 6' or so, and I was just curious what you have in your big snakes cage.

After my boa started wearing the hides as a hat, I took them out and I'm having trouble figuring what to have in there. The accurite and the water-bowl doesn't seem like enough. I do put a hide in when it is nearing shed, but thinking about it now it's probably stressful to do that.

So what do you do when your snake reaches these sizes?

My plan now is to put in a shelf with a climbing branch, so there's something for it to rub against when he's shedding.

I'd definitely like to know, too.

On a random, but slightly similar note, are hides as much necessary for a red-tail as they are for a ball-python?

I like to offer them until the snake stops using them. It's better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them.
