Yafe is 1,750G dry now. He's doing great. I love reporting on him and how well he is doing given how sick he was when I got him. Great to see him thriving.

The lights throw off his colors, but you get a sense of his size and how happy he is on those perches in the pics below.

You'd never guess that snake arrived so sick. :gj: But you went the extra miles for him.

Yafe gobbled down another medium rat yesterday.

I got a few pics the other day I thought I'd share.

My mom hadn't seen Yafe in a while. When I took him out, she said, "That's Yafe? The same snake that was tiny and sick when you got him?" She even showed him to my step-father, who says he's not afraid of snakes, but at the least is indifferent. He was even impressed.

On a separate note. Yafe was in rare form the other day. He was super hissy when I went to take him out. What a mood! Once out (and I had to take him out clean his tank), he was fine. However, what a hissy mister!

Sounds like he was "feeling his oats"! And all these compliments on his size are feeding his ego- :D ;) He sure HAS come a long way, thanks to your efforts.

Yafe looks so handsome and is doing great on medium rats every two weeks. He's great at handling and I cannot believe he was a sick little 100g baby with and RI when I got him.

He's over 1.8kg now and easily 6-6.5 feet. Not sure how much growing he has left, but I am so happy he's healthy and doing great.
