I don't know that kind of shows you guys are going to! I always see people of both genders wondering around alone.

I got into snakes after already being in a relationship with my last girlfriend. She was not on board with my new passion. It wasn't a factor that drove us apart, but a love and/or tolerance for all kinds of animals is now part of my requirements for a potential girlfriend. When I found it I jumped on www.mustlovereptiles.com. No luck yet. Not in a hurry either though. I'll be going to Vet Tech school this year(EXCITED!). I think my chances are VERY good at finding someone who shares in my animal passion.

I am a master wingwoman. I'll get you a nice 0.1 and you can thank me by buying me snakes. Everybody wins!

I dont think you need someone who is specifically into snakes, find someone who can be a good friend and it will fall into place. My fiance is not huge into snakes like I am, but once I started collecting he threw in a few aussi pythons of his own. :D

I just started going back to college and for the first few days, since my boyfriend and I have different class schedules I'm usually alone when I'm on campus so guys would approach me. They'd come in with the "so what's your major?" line, and I'd always reply "Veterinary Medicine with a focus on Herpetology." Of course they'd ask what that is, and I'd say,

"Reptiles. But I like snakes the best, they're my favorite! I own them and someday want to breed them and etcetc."

Suddenly they mysteriously lose interest. Works like a charm against unwanted attention.

Just thought I'd put my two cents in here about finding girls at expos.

When I'm at an expo you're going to need a marching band and a strobe light to get my attention away from the displays. Try to either find her looking at a herp you know a lot about, or absolutely nothing. That way either you can help her out, or give her a reason to converse back and tell you what she knows. Herp people LOVE sharing knowledge, as we all know haha.
