There’s always money in the banana stand- meet Buster!
Hi everyone! I’m a bit late on posting my first ball python as shortly after I got him I broke my leg (2020 am right?) so here’s a little thread of 2 months of ownership
Day 1: right out of his deli container from the expo. Not sure how old he was but still a little guy

Deciding he wants to be a tree python while settling in

His first handling session after eating 3 meals

And then finally me getting to handle him 2 months after I got him this weekend.

He’s such a good boy, eats well and is super curious but gentle. Hasn’t even balled up on us let alone done anything defensive. He’s starting to get some size to him and I’m really excited to have him. I’ve been interested in snakes since I was little but never took the plunge so to commit to it feels good. I’ll be sure to post more as I can!

See he knows where his hides are..all three of them and 4 if we count digging under his water bowl but for some reason he still just loves to climb up on these vines. He'll even take food from them. It is what it is I guess lol
Overall though he's adjusted really well and I'm so happy because despite the 100's of hours of reading I did on husbandry I was still afraid that something would somehow be horribly wrong haha
