is your bp super loud when it poops?

I'm kind of worried and very confused, my bp literally just woke me up with what I thought sounded like regurgitation noises (it just sounded like horrible flatulence) but after about a minute I go over and he's stretching his jaw like maybe he did just throw up or something, but all I can see is just super nasty to pick up poop that was pretty solid but also had a good amount of liquid around it (soaked half the cage). I've seen my snake go poop once before this and it was definitely not this loud or painful sounding, is something wrong?

EDIT: here's a pic, and the stuff in the water I believe is his poop as well, not sure how he got it in there.

Sounds perfectly normal to me. Sometimes bp's have gas and explosive poop's. It can be a really terrifying experience when it has never happened before.

i was feeding my other BP's when i hear a loud "pooooooott!" and i'm like WTF lamo! "pooooot!" omg wtf. lololol. "pooot!" i look around and see Rain on top of her hide - sharting into her waterbowl. lololol. she's like at 800grams now. so much noise from an animal so small. it was like the sound an uncle makes when he asks u to pull his finger.

i was shocked and amused.

anyway here's her waterbowl i retrieved after the coast was clear.

I'm dying over here!!!!! I've never heard mine go to the bathroom!!! She let's me know she's gone by refusing to go in which ever hut she's done it in. I always miss it. This is hilarious though!!!!!

Oh god I needed to read this thread, I ended up snorting my pre dinner beer out my nose due to laughter. Thanks for this - cheered me right up.

Finally experienced what it was like to hear my BP go to the bathroom!! Lol...My husband rushed out of bed thinking he had turn himself inside out with the loud farting noises coming from his tank! Not only did it happen once but it happened twice! So I had to look it up to just make sure everything was okay! Brought me to my ball python net and I started reading all these threads! Now we are just laughing!! But so true how can something so small make such a loud noise!! :eyepoppin

Well since u made me read an old thread I may as well tell a story. So I have a few Sulcata Tortoises and one night my wife and I were asleep and we were awakened by the sound of a really loud fart! I was like whoa babe! And she said I thought u did that! I said no and we both though each other were lying. Well a few days later we were watching tv and beraaap!! Huge fart again! We went looking for what could cause something to do that as it came from across the room. Finally we were near the torts and one let one loose! It’s crazy how loud a tortoise can fart! We laughed for a long time! Now 13 years later and they are huge! Let’s just say a 100 pound tort can make some noise!!

Yep. They fart. Guess all animals do it. Will never forget the first time I herd one do it. It caught me off guard as well.

Sloths !!

The would-be sloth ‘farts’ are simply reabsorbed through the intestines into the bloodstream ... it’s apparently a safety measure as they take three weeks to digest and they would explode if the gas stayed in that long .... apparently....
