I often get a little stir crazy with eggs on the ground so thought I'd do an update on this project. I did 3 bull snake pairings this season. The first picture is a 2011 red het hypo and albino. The other two are her 2014(red albino 66% poss het hypo) and 2015(red hypo 100% het albino) offspring producing their very first clutches. This year I'm mostly focused on test pairings to prove out hets and hunches with this hypo gene.

I've also added a few new 2017 pits in the last year. A pair of louisiana pines(P. ruthveni) and some classic red stuff(no hets) to be used for outcrossing/enhancing my current sayi projects. I have neglected to get the pines out for pictures but I do have a few shots of the bull trio. A pair of kingsville locality reds(right) and a generic red female(left) just starting to color up:http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...psn0ms94ve.jpg

The generic red female after a few more months of growing. This lady is going to be killer and should be perfect for outcrossing my red bull projects:http://i839.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps6yocmpof.jpg

Wow, your beautiful snakes (AND their eggs) all look awesome! :gj: I don't recall ever seeing such RED bull snakes either...simply gorgeous!
I have the utmost respect for the Pituophis family anyway...they're SERIOUS about rodents & yet typically make great pets.

OMG, where have those snakes been all my life ????

I have no idea Bullsnakes could be so breathtakingly beautiful. The animal in the above picture is one of the most beautiful snakes I've ever seen. Wow!

These are the same family as Northern Pine snakes aren't they ??

I had one a few years ago and I've always regretted trading it ..

Not colourful as such but a beautiful charcoal grey colour with a cute head shape and amazing personality... very gentle but inquisitive. Amazing feeding response and pretty sizeable ..

These pics give an example .,

And you don't even have to blow-dry their prey to get them to eat! :D

Wow! These are gorgeous! I’ve never seen anything like these around here. Probably a good thing or I’d have yet another species. :D
