Re: Ferry - Rhacodactylus Chahoua (Chewie)
Ferry (and Ezzy) needed some cage cleaning yesterday, as well as fresh logs and other wood pieces in their tanks. I had them both out for a bit.
Ferry weighed in at 62G.
We spent a little quality time.

Gotta love that tongue, and that face! See third picture and video from some good shots of his tongue.

Re: Ferry - Rhacodactylus Chahoua (Chewie)
Ferry is doing great (although I do not have new pictures to post right now - sorry).
He regularly eats his gel out of his bowl for me and Katie while we hold it. The other day, Katie held the bowl, and he was on my arm, and he ate a bunch. He's really socializing well.
He also took a mealworm out of my hand.
He's really awesome; a real social butterfly.
Re: Ferry - Rhacodactylus Chahoua (Chewie)
Ferry had his first, or maybe second waxworm ever today. I feed them very sparingly, as I do with the leopard geckos, as they will refuse anything else!
Ferry is a good boy. He ate two wax worms, a mealworm, and 2 medium Dubai, in that order.
He must be excited because his new tank is coming today! So is Ezzy's. I'll post pictures when setup.

If I haven't mentioned, Chewie's should eat the crested gecko type gel (I feed a specific Chewie Diet from Leapin' Leachies and Ferry loves it - also more calcium which they need) 2-3X a week and insects 1-2X a week. I feed 2X a week insects and 2X a week gel. The insects are dusted with calcium both times and vitamins 1X a week.
This is a big difference between Chewie's and crested geckos and leachies. I don't mind feeding insects as I feed the three Leopard Geckos insects, and have a variety on hand.
