Man accused of illegally selling reptiles and now faces a decade in prison
By trafficking vipers and turtles, a 35-year-old man now faces up to 15 years in prison, according to federal prosecutors.

At least hes going to pay the price for his illegal activities!!

The wildlife sure won't miss him, nor will I. :gj: Poachers do immeasurable harm to populations of wild species, & shipped improperly, many of those they take just suffer & die. I hope he gets the full 15 & a full helping of karma to go with it.

Ah yes that's a name I recognize from the Fauna BOI.

ETA: He's only been indicted and not convicted. I doubt he'll do anywhere near 15 years.

    You are right on that.....

He also had a gun charge for being a felon in possession of multiple firearms so:

"The maximum sentence under the Lacey Act and firearms charges are five (Reptile charge)

and 10 years (Firearms Charge) imprisonment, respectively, and a $250,000 fine for each charge."
