    ...lol...

i hate to be a Debbie Downer, but guns drawn based on a vague description of something behind a door??

the state of US police is laughable...

EDIT: honestly very sorry for the reach towards politics but i couldn't help it here...

I think the complaint was "someone's in my bathroom..."?

It does beg the question though...Homemakers...do you know where your Roomba is? :D

If a burglar were in my house I would get robbed and shot because when I see shadows under the door I assume it's one of my kids or the cat and go on about my day. Complacency gets me every time!

the irony is that i just ran my own Roomba today, and laughed at it while it proceeded to fit perfectly under our kitchen table chairs, but couldn't get out from them for a good 3 minutes LOL.

the aggressiveness it took when it thought it could escape was hilarious.

I heard them talking about this on the radio the other day. I wonder who was more embarrassed, the homeowner or the cops?

The homeowner, I'd assume. The cops were just doing their job, they can't afford to be complacent...they never know what they're dealing with.

Happily they didn't "kill" the innocent Roomba...
