    Surprise surprise...... Feeding question
I have one guy that doesn't have a good feeding response. It's been 4 weeks now so I finally left his f/t nice and warm food right outside of his hide and left him alone. I won't leave it all night. I'll remove it if he doesn't take it in about 30 mins. ANYWAY...... I went to check to see if he got it and he is stretched out of his hide, literally laying on top of this rat! Wth?

Many things could be an issue, what’s the setup like, husbandry, heating of the mouse, size of the feeder, any insight would help.

His husbandry has been spot on for almost a year. I have everything on thermostats.... Temp is 88-90 on warm end, 75-78 on cool end, 2 hides and a log and a tree and vines with reptichip bedding, humidity is 65%-75%. I don't let it fall below 60% ever. He has always eaten white f/t rats and the size for his body weight and mid section is weaned rats.

It seems he is working on it now but he has him by the wrong end. Probably bc it has cooled down. I always hit the head with the hair dryer a little after it's warm for him.
