Green Amazonian

Heres a few pics of Cheeko , my Green Amazon. Had almost two years ( was a rescue ) , tail plucked completely out , now grown back , not able to be handled , now will sit and '' groom '' me lol.

Looks like a blue front amazon. Beautiful bird, he/she is really enjoying those skritches in that last pic! I have a Guatemalan blue crown mealy amazon I rescued/rehomed a few months ago that we're still working with to calm her down, but I just love her to bits. I wish you two many years of happiness!

thanks ! I am pretty sure ( 99.99% ) its Orange Winged , deff not Blue Fronted ( beak would be all black with BFs ) ....does like her ( Im saying her , we still need to DNA sex ) skritches but on her terms ,lol. Either way ''she'' is much loved at home , so loyal .

Oops, I was just looking at that thinking it could also be an OW. Some of them look so similar, but they're all awesome. Is she chatty?

no worries ! as for being chatty , '' she '' trys hard to emulate some words ( wife says Im hearing things tho ,lol ) its a looooooooong process , she does call to me in the morning when shes knows I have risen ( I call back to her , hacks the wife off as well , lol ) .

yup there deff hard to ID at times , got something like 37 species of Amazon Greens to work thru !!!

and yes they are deff amazing creatures , so intelligent ,
