What size enclosure do you guys like for ATBs?
If you guys were picking up an ATB from someone who isn't able to take care of it any more thats about 2 feet long, what would you guys choose to house her in? Obviously I know she needs branches, humidity, etc, but ive seen conflicting stories on them needing arboreal style enclosures, some say a tall enough terrestrial style enclosure is sufficient, and I dont have a dog in the fight so I don't know. So, I figured I'd ask you experts over here.

I currently have a 4x2x15" with nothing planned for it yet that has a Pro Products rhp on the way. A local snake keeper recommended a 3x2x2 rather than a more arboreal setup of 2x2x3 but another recommended perhaps a 4x2x2 for adulthood but my 4x2x15" would suffice for now since she's still young. Either way, she'll need something temporary for a couple weeks if I'm able to get this particular atb. Do you guys prefer just Sterilite tubs for a temp setup over an aquarium? Is a uth going to be able to provide the proper warmth for this until my rhp comes in?

4x2x15 would be fine and so would 3x2x2 OR 2x2x3. All of those are more than sufficient. ATBs will stretch out longways just as much as... upwards, so as long as there are perches, the overall height isn't going to be a deal breaker or anything.
A tub is generally better than a tank since humidity is much easier to hold. I use green garden fencing in tubs (in QT or for babies) and then perches in cages. Yes a UTH is fine for now.
ATBs generally spend quite a bit of time on the ground when sleeping during the day and will usually happily make use of a hide if provided.

Here's some pics of mine and my set-ups. Good luck and enjoy your little demon shoestring! :D

Do you think the uth on the side or top would be better?

I have an adult male ETB in this tub for quarantine: http://www.sterilite.com/SelectProdu...=305&section=0

4x2x2 is pretty unnecessary tbh. But if you don't have a big collection and aren't trying to be space efficient, it wouldn't be too big or anything.

A UTH on the side/top wouldn't really do much because the heat transfers upwards. You'd be better off with a RHP.

Alright, i found that 80qt tub at Wal-Mart. I got one of those and going to Petco to grab an uth and thermostat. Hopefully i can find a couple sticks or driftwood for it to climb on and decide if it wants to be hot or cooler. Ill have no problem finding plastic foliage at hobby lobby. Yall are a big help. Will get some substrate to help hold humidity and hopefully shell be happy until my rhp gets here for the bigger enclosure.
