Kinda Bummed We Cannot Comment on Threads in For Sale/Trade/Adoption or Wanted Forum

That is what PM are for.

Back in the days adds could be commented on, or bump as many times as a seller wanted to and we ended up with mainly ads on the front page as they would always come back up on the top, so we put a stop to that and we also put limits for the bumps and number of ads since are mission is not to be a market place but a place for people to seek advice. That lead the people who solely were using this forum for the free ads without contributing to leave the forum and we are much better for it.

That has been in place for several years now and we just like it this way.

And in case you wonder your post was edited since it really violates the TOS by linking ads on a thread placed on the main forum I will be nice about this and make it a general warning.

i hope my post and examples make still sense after the edits.

anyways another question: is there a limit on how many threads could be in that forum or does a thread fall off the page after a certain amount of time? like for example, i counted 18 threads (active and locked) over there right now and the last thread on the page is from 12/29/17. sometimes i just browse and read old threads and thought it might be fun to browse and read old ads as well if it's an option. where is page 2 of that forum or is there a way to browse and checkout old ads?

There are no limits however when you access that forum as a default it shows the thread posted in the last 75 days.

If you wish to see more scroll down and select Beginning and you will be able to see threads dating back to 2003.

i think these types of threads are super helpful in how they inform users about the intent and history of the site. i think it's important for users to know these things as i think it helps drive good content.

KevinK did not get a Caramel Burm or a Labyrinth because he was impatient :rofl:

Caramels seem to be nearly non-existent in the US and when they pop up they're at least a few grand it seems......and everything seems to be het Labyrinth right now, but nothing visible. That temporary interstate Burm ban really hurt the available genetic combinations.

I really appreciate it! :) Yeah, it does really suck that I can't even get any feedback on the designs or anything, but I can definitely see how people with ads would abuse the ability to keep bumping their posts and taking over the recent posts on the homepage. If I understood your message correctly, were you requesting fanny packs? If so, they aren't available through the printing company i'm using, unfortunately, but I will probably be using a couple other companies that might have them as well as other products.
