The animal on the right here was a similar looking hatchling colorwise. He's a lot bigger now but looks the same - was maybe 2 years old in this picture. As they mature the hypo gene should lighten up that background color a fair bit and some red tends to bleed into the middle saddles, giving them a purple cast. https://i839.photobucket.com/albums/...psaozb7syp.jpg

Wow! That snake on the right there has all the things I've seen and liked in bullsnake so far! I hope there will be some like yours out there when I'm ready to add one to my crew, they're stunning.
