Is my gecko terminally sick?
a week or so ago, while handling lenetta, I heard a poping noise kinda like you hear at a chiropractic. two seconds later lenetta had pooped on my hand. I figured it was because she wasn't close enough to her defecatorium. then, last night while watching TV, I heard the same popping noise and, sure enough, lenetta pooped on my hand. i'm REALLY worried now:confuzd::(:tears:. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Is my gecko terminally sick?
How much do you handle her? How often and for how long?

I handle her every night after she has eaten a few crickets, and once every 2-3 days. I never handle her more than twice a day.

It's a gecko, gecko will defecate anywhere at any time I am not sure why you jump to the conclusion of being terminally sick?
Is the animal bloated, does it look skinny with fat in the tail depleated?
Lenetta is a leopard gecko so she uses a toilet site, that's why i'm surprised. Also, she doesn't look unhealthy, which is part of why i'm confused.:confusd:

Again gecko will poop anywhere and at any given time, even the smartest house trained lizard (meaning larger lizard) will let themselves go at somepoint.
Those are not cats and dogs so expections should not be as high.

See above and my guess is you are handling to much.
5 minutes every other day or so at least until you are sure she's fine. I bet she is, but if she doesn't have access to her favorite poop spot she will poop wherever. Also, when stressed or overhandled, they will poop as well. She may be telling you to let her be more.
